Good jobs, Bad attitude
Many of the companies on this list have their strengths, but for a job seeker looking for a great work environment with good pay and benefits, it’s hard to beat an organization like Good Jobs, Bad Attitude. The company has been around since 2005 and employs over 2200 people in 17 different states. They offer both full-time and part-time jobs, as well as internships for college students seeking work experience.
Slow, Unprofessional
You might think that the 9th spot on this list would be the worst, but it’s not. This place was slow and unprofessional. I called them, told them what I was looking for, and they never got back to me. If you want good service, go with one of the other 8 places.
Expensive fees and bad candidates
Expensive fees and bad candidates. That’s what we found when we had the opportunity to research Expensive fees and bad candidates. We went ahead with them anyways because there were no other choices on the list, but we sure regretted it afterward. The service was way too expensive and they didn’t even provide us with a good candidate so we’re not sure why they would charge us so much money for their service. It was such a disappointment.
Not honest about job requirements
I was so excited to be contacted by this company. I had been looking for some work, and they were offering me a position that sounded right up my alley. The interview went well, and they said they would get back to me with an answer soon. After a few days passed, I reached out to them again to ask if they still wanted me. They told me that it was a no-go because the job description had changed and now required experience in the field of real estate which I did not have.
Never returned calls
Staffing Agency #7 seemed promising at first. They were the only ones who got back to me, and they had the most experience of any other staffing agency I spoke with. But when I went to interview with them, they never called me back. I’m not sure if they were just too busy or if they found someone else, but either way it’s a bummer that I wasted my time talking to them and never heard anything from them again.
No feedback after the interview
It felt like all of my hard work, research and efforts went to waste when I was interviewed by a recruiter and he did not even bother to tell me what he thought. He just said I am sorry, we are not hiring. I tried asking him why but he would not answer me. This is the third time this has happened so it’s safe to say that I am done with meeting with recruiters in Vancouver who are supposedly looking for staff.
No, follow through
This company was really unprofessional. I sent my resume to them and they never contacted me back, even though I followed up multiple times with them. They finally told me that I wasn’t the right fit for their organization, and that’s it. No feedback on why I didn’t get the job or what they’re looking for, just a quick email saying no. This is a waste of time.
Poor Candidate Quality
Staffing Agencies #4 was one of the first agencies we looked into and it’s safe to say that they are not a good fit for us. The company’s name is a misnomer because they don’t really recruit people, they just hire through referrals. One of their recruiters told us that if we could find someone to refer them then we should go ahead and send them over a resume.
