In Korea, the land is small, and in the meantime, a large number of people live in cities, so the apartments type, where many households can live in a small space, is quite developed.
As of 2022, apartments accounted for nearly 60% of the housing type for residence in Korea.
In the past, apartments were built for the simple purpose of allowing many households to live in a narrow space, but today’s apartments are a new type of residential space that combines community life and various convenience facilities, and where many households can live a pleasant and comfortable life. It is being transformed into and being built.
Among them, apartments that are differentiated from other apartments and are luxurious are often featured in articles.
High-end apartments are emerging, with river and park views, tight security with private security, amenities including a fitness club, swimming pool and driving range, and even a Guest House where visitors can relax.
The most luxury Apartments in The world
These luxury apartments are also exorbitantly priced.
Tower Palace in Dogok-dong, the iconic tower that most people think of when they think of luxury apartments in Korea, Mark Hills in Cheongdam-dong and I-Park in Cheongdam-dong, known for being sold at the highest price, and Galleria Foret in Seongsu-dong, the most expensive apartment in Gangbuk.
The highest selling price of these apartments is known to be between 5 and 6 billion units.
It’s a jaw-dropping amount… Then what would happen if we set the standard to the world? Would your mouth be more open? hehe
LONCOLN PROPERTY COMPANY’s list of the Top 10 Most Expensive Apartments Around the World
It’s a mouth-watering price.
The world’s most expensive apartment occupies the Sky Penthouse in The Odeon Tower in Monaco (Monaco’s capital is also Monaco).
It is priced at a whopping 440.8 billion won. The price per sqm is over 5 million won.
This is an amount that even the most wealthy cannot afford.
Monaco may be unfamiliar to you, but it is a very small country in Europe and the second smallest country in the world.
It is said to be slightly wider than Urana Seoul National University. If you take a village bus once, you can go around the whole country in 20 minutes.
Jalban among the top 10 are apartments located in New York, USA.
New York is also a densely populated metropolis, so apartments are well developed. As it is the world’s best metropolis, the prices are great, and there are quite a few apartments in the rankings.
In terms of price per pyeong, the penthouse in London’s South Bank Tower , which ranked 7th, took first place with about 670 million won per pyeong. The price of 1 pyeong of an apartment is the same as the price of a decent 30-40 pyeong apartment in Seoul/Gyeonggi area in Korea.
By the way, the South Bank Tower building is actually scheduled to be completed in 2015, and is the actual transaction price before occupancy. I think you’re right about the price.
And, as you can see from the photos, the apartments in the TOP10 rankings were all built in a unique and unique shape.
Looking at the forest of apartments in Korea built in the shape of a matchbox without individuality or characteristics, I am envious of building an apartment building with such individuality. Since it was built like this, the price would be like this, right? Regardless of the price, I have a feeling that people who live in a house with this design will always be happy for some reason.
