Career

2008–2012, pre-rooster teeth career

Blaine was first born in Oklahoma and  Robert Gibson  raised in Texas. After finishing high school in Oklahoma in 2008, Blaine enrolled in Collin County Community College for two years, attending from 2010 until his graduation in 2012 with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree with a major in art studies. In order to prepare financially for transferring to the University of Texas in Austin, Blaine worked a variety of jobs throughout this time.

Blaine studied film production and film-making at The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. During his studies, he developed his directing, editing, and filming skills for undergraduate student films. On May 17, 2014, Blaine received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radio, Television, and Film.

In 2012, Blaine enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin to study filmmaking and production. He honed his directing, editing, and filming abilities for undergraduate student films while he was a student. Blaine graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radio, Television, and Film on May 17, 2014.

 Study Breaks Magazine

From May through August 2013, Blaine worked for Study Breaks Magazine in Austin, Texas, as an augmented reality content producer. For the website and augmented reality mobile app of the publication, he conceptualized and shot movies there.

2012–2013 on Texas Student Television

Blaine’s last position before joining Rooster Teeth was as a producer for TSTV from August 2012 until December 2013. While there, he worked as a floor manager and editor for the University of Texas’ student-run, FCC-licensed television station, as well as a producer for Longhorn Late-night.

2013-present: Rooster Teeth and Live Action productions

He was an intern and a fan of Rooster Teeth before working there.

Blaine served as a Guardian volunteer at RTX 2013 and was chosen to be Barbara’s personal assistant.

Blaine applied for and was granted an internship at Rooster Teeth while pursuing a degree in film, radio, and television at the University of Texas at Austin. On December 13, 2013, Blaine was formally employed by Rooster Teeth after completing his internship. [1]

On May 17, 2014, Blaine earned his degree from the University of Texas.

Childhood, family, and education

Since Blaine hasn’t mentioned having any brothers or sisters, his fans assume he is an only child. He becomes very secretive when asked about his parents because he prefers to keep them out of the spotlight. While viewing movies as a child, Blaine decided that he wanted to make movies rather than become an actor.

During his time in high school, he was quite gregarious and also spent a lot of time learning about movies and creating on his own.

He was raised in Texas and enrolled at the Dallas-area Collin County Community College after finishing high school in 2008. He was a student there from 2010 to 2012 and graduated with an Associate of Arts with a focus on art studies.
